Attorney Biography
Jeff Blackwell’s legal practice is dedicated to addressing cases of grave personal injuries, significant damages, and wrongful deaths. His focus is solely on advocating for the victims of personal injury and their families.
A seasoned trial attorney, Jeff ardently champions his clients’ causes. His legal journey commenced in 1995 at a distinguished Birmingham law firm, where he managed serious injury cases statewide in Alabama. Within his first three years, Jeff made an oral argument before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, successfully defended a major healthcare corporation against severe fraud charges at trial, and secured a substantial settlement for consumers in a statewide class action suit.
In 1998, Jeff relocated to North Alabama to concentrate exclusively on representing plaintiffs in major injury or damage cases. During his 17-year tenure as a partner at a Huntsville firm, he achieved verdicts in multiple Alabama counties and successfully represented clients before the Alabama Supreme Court and Alabama Court of Civil Appeals numerous times. His efforts have aided injury victims in both Alabama and Federal Courts.
When a longtime law partner retired in 2015, Jeff established his own law firm. His practice is founded on a methodology of legal scholarship, meticulous case preparation, and robust client advocacy. This approach underpins the Blackwell Law Firm.
