Attorney Biography
Mr. Rosenblum, a solitary legal artisan in Butler, PA, specializes in consumer and small enterprise bankruptcies. His legal journey commenced with the acquisition of a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law Center in 1979, preceded by an Artium Baccalaureus from Vassar College in 1975, and a Diploma from Shady Side Academy in 1970. Nearly attaining a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University in 1980, he distinguished himself as a former Permanent Divorce Master for the Court of Common Pleas in Butler County and as a law clerk to a cadre of esteemed judges: President Judge John C. Dillon, Judge Floyd A. Rauschenberger, Judge John H. Brydon, and Senior Judge George P. Kiester.
During his tenure at Georgetown, he clerked for Patton, Boggs & Blow, and while at U.S.C., he served as a Certified Law Clerk (Prosecution) for the City Attorney’s Office of Santa Monica, California. Interspersed between his collegiate and law school endeavors, he was a paraprofessional at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Upon his return to Butler, he undertook the role of in-house tax counsel for R.O. Solkovy & Associates, C.P.A.
Mr. Rosenblum’s professional affiliations are notable; he is an active member of the Standing Bankruptcy Rules Committee and the Attorney Advisory Committee for the Bankruptcy Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania. He holds a distinguished position as a Master in the Judith K. Fitzgerald Bankruptcy Inn of Court. His acumen in bankruptcy law is further evidenced by his presentation on “How to Get Rich as Bankruptcy Counsel Without Getting into Trouble!” at the 16th Annual Bankruptcy Institute in 2011. Additionally, he has imparted his knowledge as an Adjunct Professor in business law at Butler County Community College in 1986, and in legal research and taxation at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1982. His dedication to pro bono work was recognized when he was honored as the Butler County Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 1990.
